Kids’ Actor Headshots | NYC
Kids change fast. So the headshot has one job: be current, be clear, and actually look like your kid.
No stiff poses. No pageant smile. No heavy retouching that turns a kid into a skincare ad. Just natural expression, clean modern light, and headshots that casting can use.
I’m a go-to photographer for several NYC agencies when they need updated headshots for kids and teens.

What to bring
I’ll help you pick 2–3 wardrobe options that feel like real life versions of roles your kid could actually book. Simple layers photograph well (tees, henleys, sweaters, light jackets). We’ll avoid loud logos, busy patterns, and anything that looks like a costume.
How often should kids update headshots?
Most kids benefit from updating every 6–12 months, or anytime there’s a noticeable change (growth spurt, braces on/off, haircut, major style shift).
FAQs
What ages do you photograph?
All of them! Kids and teens. And if your child is right on the edge of “kid” vs “teen,” we’ll make sure we get looks that support both.
Is this studio or outdoor?
Yep. Either! We can decide what might be best for your kid.
How does retouching work?
One retouch is included. Additional retouches are $40 each.
