Kids’ Actor Headshots | NYC

Kids change fast. So the headshot has one job: be current, be clear, and actually look like your kid.

No stiff poses. No pageant smile. No heavy retouching that turns a kid into a skincare ad. Just natural expression, clean modern light, and headshots that casting can use.

I’m a go-to photographer for several NYC agencies when they need updated headshots for kids and teens.

The Kids | 500

What you get

  • Around 500 digital color images

  • 2–3 looks

  • About one hour

  • Natural light

  • A password-protected, downloadable gallery with all images in high resolution

  • Then I help you make selections (so you’re not guessing). I’ll help you choose images that read instantly on Casting Networks, Actors Access, and agency submissions.

  • One retouch included (additional retouches are $40 each)

What to bring

I’ll help you pick 2–3 wardrobe options that feel like real life versions of roles your kid could actually book. Simple layers photograph well (tees, henleys, sweaters, light jackets). We’ll avoid loud logos, busy patterns, and anything that looks like a costume.

How often should kids update headshots?

Most kids benefit from updating every 6–12 months, or anytime there’s a noticeable change (growth spurt, braces on/off, haircut, major style shift).

FAQs

What ages do you photograph?
All of them! Kids and teens. And if your child is right on the edge of “kid” vs “teen,” we’ll make sure we get looks that support both.

Is this studio or outdoor?
Yep. Either! We can decide what might be best for your kid.

How does retouching work?
One retouch is included. Additional retouches are $40 each.

  • “Thanks again so much for Saturday!! The kids had a blast and we have so many pictures to pick from. By far their best set of head shots ever 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 Too many good ones. My sister is in LA. She posted their headshots on her Facebook page. A friend of hers works for a big casting director. They reached out to her to contact Madelyn and Jakes manager for a meeting ☺️☺️☺️☺️ Thank you!!!”

  • “Just wanted to let you know that Ian shot an industrial today—it was the first submission with his new headshot and he booked it! One of the other actors on the shoot also uses you for his headshots. It’s a small world!”

  • “I enthusiastically recommend ClintonBPhotography! My college-aged daughter had a headshot session with Clinton this morning (I tagged along to carry stuff) and WOW! What a dynamite experience! She now has so many fantastic pictures to choose from. Clinton is a pro! His open, collaborative vibe inspires ease and confidence. It was so much fun, and we are absolutely thrilled with the results! We are very grateful to Clinton for a positively memorable and productive session.”
