Samantha Lennon is a down to earth consultant & freelance makeup artist from The Bronx, NY. Her experience and knowledge as a makeup artist (from a corporate background) of 15 years led her in a direction of creating a business for the hundreds of clients she’s had over the years, who were lost when it came to makeup application. This wasn’t a small percent, this was the majority. She created personalized beauty consultations and brought the education to ones home and to teach the fundamentals of makeup.
Each consultation is completely personalized, and the client receives an educational course in makeup, application & technique and will know how to apply their own makeup by the end of the sessions. She does the heavy lifting for her clients, taking the complicated and often intimidating and overwhelming wealth of products from the shelves right to the comfort of their own home. She started her business back in the recession of 2008 and has never looked back.
Samantha also enjoys writing for BeautyNewsNYC.com and Fashionindie.com
Beautiful Faces by Rachel
Rachel is a NYC-based Professional Makeup Artist, who developed a passion for make-up at a very early age. It all began with dabbling in her Mom’s make-up bag as a child. As she got older, there were frequent visits to department store counters to get her own make-up done and numerous purchases that helped to fuel her passion. But that wasn’t enough! She realized that she had a calling for creating “beautiful faces” not just for herself, but also for others.
Rachel wanted to be a professional, so she obtained her certification as a professional Makeup Artist and a Bridal Makeup Specialist at the Lia Schoor Institute in NYC. She then went on to join the MAC Cosmetics Team. Rachel also worked for CHANEL Cosmetics. Rachel is currently freelancing. Her work has appeared in GLAMOUR Magazine. Rachel is also doing the make-up for the sportscasters of the NY Rangers on high definition TV. Rachel has worked for the Dan Patrick show, the Today Show, The Jockey Club on FOX Sports 1, Hydraulic Jeans, AG Hair Products, TRESemme hair products, for the Celebrity Beach Bowl and for Iron Horse Cinema.
Rachel takes pride in being a good listener and paying close attention to her clients input. Intuitive by nature, Rachel can bring her clients vision to life by choosing colors that will compliment them as an individual. She is known for creating beautiful looks that are as unique as her individual clients are.
Rachel believes that the beautiful faces she has created have empowered her clients. Furthermore, her clients leave her presence with an overall experience not just a make-over.
As Coco Chanel said, “A girl should be two things: classy and fabulous.”
Rachel can help you get there.
